Generally it's a lack of water that is the major challenge for tennis clubs with porous courts. However, as this photo shows, it hasn't always been this dry! This picture from 1934 shows the area where the tennis club is located today completely submerged.

And this photo of a well dressed group was taken at the 2008 Annual Presentation night. Thankfully it was a theme party, in case you were wondering!
